Investment for Full Service Design is a flat design fee based upon the size, complexity and type of room(s) or project, in addition to a furnishings budget.
Our 10 step approach to designing beautiful homes, guarantees client satisfaction every step of the way
Step 1. Initial in-home consultation (2-hour appointment)
- Define scope of work, budget and comfort level
- Define mood, style, function
- Take preliminary photos /measurements
- Review project management process and contract
Step 2. Signing of agreement, Receipt of Design Fee, and Commencement of Project (1-hour appointment)
- Review design proposal, sign letter of agreement for services, collect design fee
- Establish style through client photo homework
Step 3. Trade Day (2-4 hour appointment)
- All trades will visit site to review project details, point out concerns & collaborate
- Additional onsite measures, photos and finial criteria meeting
Step 4. Studio design time (3 to 4 weeks to allow for collection of samples)
- Planning/research, Floor/Space plans. Renderings & Elevations
- Design board development — selection of all finishes/furniture/lighting/window treatments
Step 5. Design Concept board presentation (2 hour appointment)
- Present all plans and selections to client for review
- Selections and budget are finalized
- Client acceptance with furnishings deposit collected
Step 6. Project Implementation, Placement of orders and lead time assessment (8-12 weeks)
- Review of subcontractor bids/client review of bids/revisions
- Vendor selection and contracts
- Budget review and management of all selections
- Place all orders for fabrics, furniture, lighting, rugs, wall coverings, etc.
- Track and expedite all items purchased
- Coordination with receiver; inspecting goods, storage, delivery and installation
- Pay vendor, freight, delivery and installation invoices
Step 7. Construction and Renovation
- Wall treatments, painting, architecture details
- Flooring installation
Step 8. Installation (full day or can be multiple days for larger projects)
- Balance of furnishing payment collected 2 weeks prior to installation
- Area rugs, window treatment and lighting installation
- Furniture delivery and placement “white glove” service
- Hang art, place accessories and final touches
Step 9. Walk through
- Walk through and punch list
- Supervision of punch list completion
Step 10. Final project completion items
- Client closure meeting and presentation of final invoices
- Presentation of client binder and thank you
